Kristin Thorisdottir Psychologist from Aalborg University. I am a psychologist, educated at Aalborg University, where I focused on work-related stress and coaching during my graduate studies. Today, I primarily work with young people who experience anxiety and other psychological challenges.I have extensive experience from working in the municipality (kommunen), where I worked with young people with diagnoses such as autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, and 22q11 deletion syndrome (DiGeorge syndrome). As a former family counselor within the municipality, I have also worked closely with parents and families around behavioural difficulties and overall wellbeing at home.
I work with a wide range of psychological issues and with clients of all ages. My experience includes anxiety, stress, depression, low self-esteem, perfectionism, relationship issues, heartbreak, school refusal, chronic pain, and challenges related to expat life.
I also offer assessments for ADHD & autism.
My practice is located in the Meatpacking District (Kødbyen) in Copenhagen – just a 10-minute walk from the Central Station. Address: Soho, Flæsketorvet 68, 1st floor, 1711 Copenhagen V.

I am a licensed psychologist and job coach with many years of experience working with people navigating job seeking, career uncertainty, and interview performance.
I offer professional feedback sessions focused on job interviews, where you can gain a clear and honest understanding of how you come across to potential employers – and what may be holding you back from being invited to more interviews or job offers.
My goal is to help you communicate your skills and experience more effectively, so you can present yourself with greater clarity and confidence.
I work with a practical and straightforward approach, combining psychological insight with real-world recruitment experience.

As a psychology intern at MindTherapy, I offer supportive and development-focused counselling sessions this autumn, where we can create space for what is on your mind.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, and I address a range of concerns including wellbeing, personal development, faith, sadness, stress, anxiety, and relational challenges. In individual therapy, I work from a cognitive behavioural approach, where we explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns together.
I also offer couples sessions, focusing on areas such as communication, conflict, and emotional closeness. In this work, I draw on an emotionally focused therapeutic approach to help you better understand and strengthen your relationship.
I meet you with warmth, presence, and curiosity. It is important to me that you feel seen, heard, and understood—just as you are. Sessions are available in both Danish and English.
